Hi everyone,

A year ago when I said I thought we might be sold out in a year a lot of you chuckled or were at least a bit skeptical. And you were right.

It’s a year later and Genova isn’t sold out yet. But it’s well on its way.

There’s only one condo left in the first building, only one left in the second building and only 8 left in the third building. So really…who would have believed we’d be almost half sold…but we are. Today 98 of the 205 condos are sold.

It’s forced the boss to release the fourth building last week…3 months ahead of schedule. And 5 of the 28 condos in that building have already sold.

I tried to tell him the reason the condos were selling so well is because of my blog and our Facebook page with 8,000+ followers.

But the boss thinks its Genova’s great location, design and price…at exactly the right time for Baby Boomers to trade-up or downsize.

Of course, he designed it so he believes its the hybrid concept of single-family-home features built into maintenance-free, luxury condos with no equity fees, no CDD and low condo fees. All around a lake and resort-lifestyle club.

Got to admit…a lot of people seem to like the idea.

In any case he’s the boss. And he’s also my dad. So we’ll give him some of the credit for Genova’s success.

In case you’re new to my blog Genova is a gated community of 205 luxury condos in 6 U-shaped courtyard buildings with 3 residential levels over a parking/street level. The club includes a zero-edge resort pool and clubhouse overlooking the lake, a staffed fitness center, a 25-meter Olympic lap pool, an aerobics studio, massage, sauna and bocce.

And its walking distance to shopping, Publix, restaurants and only 20 minutes to the airport and the beaches

My favorite feature is each of the lanai and master balcony views overlook a spacious lakeside courtyard with a two-story landscaped atrium, pergolas, sculptures, bistro tables, trees, flowers and friendly neighbors.

Feels a lot like the village piazzas in coastal Italy.

Was there last May. Can’t wait to go back.

If you’d like more info go to genova-florida.com or take a virtual tour at our Genova sales center, open every day 9:00 -5:30, at 9510 Corkscrew Palms Circle #1 in Estero ( just off Corkscrew Road at the entrance to Estero Community Park) or you can call Debbi or Karen  at (239) 948-2929.

Last word – we’re going back to doing blogs once a week( if they give me some time off from the design studio to write them). Just kidding. I love working here.
