Today, we continue our Meet Your Neighbors series with an absolutely lovely lady, Annette Gordon! Annette and I sat down for a few minutes to chat before we went to check out her condo under construction.
On a side note I hope buyers who has gone on a tour of Building A enjoyed it! I’ve heard rave reviews.
Back to Meet Your Neighbors. Annette, who purchased a Bianco on the penthouse level of the first building is originally from the windy city, Chicago, which she misses very much. Annette graduated from Bradley University just outside of Chicago. There she started a home organization business, a personal services firm helping people re-organize the way their home lives. Now I could definitely use someone like that to organize my life.
Eventually she and her husband came to Florida looking to find a nice vacation home and retire.
Annette originally moved down to a different community but found it to be too “quiet”. She really was looked for as close to the urban feel as possible, still missing her sweet life in downtown Chicago! That’s when and why she found Genova’s urban look and feel so appealing. The courtyard and atrium creates a sense of community and combined with the club offers with lots of activities and socializing! Annette loves meeting people. And Genova’s also conveniently close to shopping and dining at Coconut Point Town Center…22 restaurants and 120 stores. Did I mention Annette also loves to shop…don’t we all?
I know… it’s not downtown Chicago, but it’s also doesn’t snow and its not 20 below.
Annette has a dog named Ripley (cute name!) who apparently competes as the cutest dog with “Killer”, Karen Brown’s chihuahua. Annette is also a huge fan of Estero Community Park (right next to Genova), and she enjoys black and white photography! She shoots weddings, etc. Just kidding, she doesn’t do weddings. I’s just a hobby, but It’s still cool.
As you can see Annette may be less than 5 feet but she’s a very busy bee. Great person.
I hope you enjoyed getting to meet another one of your neighbors! Keep on the lookout and say to Annette or any others future neighbors!
Annette told me to be sure to say “Go Bears!”.
